#226 Winter Anime 2013 Part 2

Posted in Anime, Hetalia with tags , , , , , on January 6, 2013 by Lee T

Well things aren’t coming out as fast as I had hoped they would. Let me tell you about the animes I look forward to this season!

AKB Next

AKB0048 Next Stage

I don’t know what draws me more: the music or the action?

I can’t tell you enough how much I’ve been wanting to continue this series. What I always liked is how everything is so cutesy and sparkly and at the same time depressing and competitive. I’m very drawn to the characters’ personalities of trying to become music idols. This show bring some truths to light about idol groups. Every time someone advances in reaching their goal, someone else is falling backwards at the same time. When a trainee joins the lead group, a member must leave. With all this, what do you get? A lot of crying little girls.

With the drama aside this does take place in the future where the idols also physically fight the anti-entertainment universal law. The AKB members engage in combat with laser swords, guns, full suit mechas, and space ships. I personally love Mayuyu and her machine gun arm. I think she’s an android, but she’s a minor character who doesn’t get much screen time.

But I guess it’s a little cheesy that they sing while their battling evil.

Hetalia the Beautiful World

It’s Hetalia. Not much else to say.

Tamako

Tamako Market

3rd most anticipated anime of winter 2013 according to BIGLOBE’s official survey. It’s a story about mochi!

I, personally, am not a big fan of mochi. The title made me think about Homer Simpsons’ hybrid between tomato and tobacco plant, though. Well anyway, people want to watch it and it looks cute. It’s worth a shot.

I’m not blogging so much anymore so here’s the gist of what I’m currently following.

Manga

  • Naruto
  • Bleach
  • Fairy Tail
  • Gin no Saji (Silver Spoon)
  • Soul Eater
  • Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler)
  • Ao no Exorcist (Blue Exorcist)
  • Yotsuba&!

Manwha (more like Korean webtoons)

  • Kubera
  • Wakeup Deadman

Online English Comics

PS. Go watch Nekomonogatari (Kuro) if you haven’t yet. It’s the movie-ish thing of Bakemonogatari and Nisemonogatari. It’s really good if you’re a fan of the Monogatari series.

Hey everybody who’s anybody. I am making this post to officially say that I am no longer posting in this blog. Well I might if something worth ranting about comes up like Tobi’s jacked up back-story or if I want to write another Anime vs. Manga post.

The Ultimate Spoiler Attack Facebook page has been up for a while for a few people to stay updated for my blog posts. I will now use this page to have mini-rants when my favorite mangas update with a provided link. I will also be now using it to post my manga/anime screenshots that I extensively collect.

It’s obvious I have too many of these. I will allow posting on this page so others can share, too! SHARE YOUR FAVORITE ANIME AND MANGA SCREENSHOTS.

I usually take the ones of humorous aspect, but you make share your favorite heartwarming scenes as well.
And don’t worry about spoilers. This name is ULTIMATE SPOILER ATTACK for that sole reason. Spoil away!

I don’t know where this will be heading. It might explode to be some meme page, it might just be just me posting pictures all alone forever. Whatever happens, it will be fun. :)

Images appeared in this post by order: Defense Devil, Naruto Shippuden Movie: Blood Prison, Yotsuba&!, GaiaOnline, and Bleach

#157 Through an Italian’s boxer shorts that the world once again knew peace

Posted in Anime, Hetalia on December 5, 2011 by Lee T

I was planning to take a break this week from posting, but HETALIA has been updated on Animecrazy! I know that YouTube video says it was posted in September. I just found it today. The episode ended with “To be continued…” so there is hope that there is more on its way.

World Series: Hetalia : Special Episode 3 [watch here]

Russia hiding in China’s panda is my favorite chapter. I’m so happy they finally animated that scene.

America has a 1942 model notebook computer? He used it to Go****(Google) directions to Germany? Oh, and Tony was there, too. I think he was calling England a “Fucking bitch” the entire time.

We have to swim across the Atlantic?

Actually, Googling directions from America to Germany doesn’t exist. Ever tried Googling America to Japan?

Episode 1 of APH in Nekotalia version. ‘Nuff said?

I see many Sealand fans are flipping out. Sealand is now an “adult”. Is he really an adult, or did he just throw away his soldier outfit for a suit? What also bothers me is, how old must a country be to be called an “adult”? The only aging we saw was from America before he became independent. England left to fight a war with France and when he returned, America was already grown up. Anyway, let’s just protect ourselves from the raging Sealand fans. Mmk?

Russia consults Canada for a polar bear problem, Austria is angry about not being invited to the conference? China is yelling at Hong Kong(?) to stop plagiarizing products.

Japan is serious? (Or just daydreaming.) Dramatic look to the side, cool pose, eye shine, “Final Secret Arte: Lamentable Thoughts!” and the earth is destroyed. Dramatic much?

And China’s land is being hogged by France, Britain, and Russia. That’s old news. Funny how they show this while the world fears China’s economic power.

#141 Yes, Raikage hand is back by accident

Since there isn’t any sign of WSJ coming out yet, I looked into the searched links for my blog. I found some interesting things.

Lucky for me, WordPress tracks all the searches that lead to views on my blog. Crazy things end up there and it makes me wonder why people search these things. Reminds me of that rage face that said, “If they found a list of things we Googled, we’d be screwed.” I too would be screwed.

[Click here to view full search list for 11.1.11-11.8.11 of this blog]

After staring at it for a very long tine, I broke it down by different searches by anime series.

Fairy Tail: 28
Naruto: 27
Bleach: 23
Blue Exorcist: 12
Hetalia: 6
Soul Eater: 4
Yotsuba: 4
Silver Spoon: 3
Black Butler: 3
Defense Devil: 2
[C] Control: 1

Obviously, Fairy Tail is quite popular because of its new chapter starting the new arc. Sabertooth guild is quite intimidating and we can’t wait until the gang gets in another battle.

Naruto gets 40 total views because people are far too impatient for MangaStream to release the new WSJ. Don’t get me wrong, I too am anxiously waiting for the new chapter, but I can’t do anything since MangaStream is the only reliable source I know…I can’t find raws so we’re just going to wait this one out!

Oh, Raikage gets 7 searches because of his hand. Well it’s true. I believe it’s a small typo that Kishimoto hoped that it would not raise any attention. Raikage has no arm on page 15, but gets his arm back by page 17. Unless Tsunade learns Orihime’s spacial reversal healing, they just screwed up.

Bleach. There’s a lot of different searches for this one. Many are about Ichigo and Ginjo’s fight which hasn’t exactly developed enough to explain what’s happening other than Ginjo’s a maniac. Other searches were about Riruka.

Most of the Hetalia searches were of the Halloween episode that is now… gone. I even looked back in my previous post where I linked to it and the video is gone. So sad.

I guess that concludes my post. See the complete search list above in orange. There is a very bizarre in there somewhere. I won’t post about it so go check for yourself! Cya!

Not posting about Bleach anime anymore. I’m going to lay off the anime since I see it’s going well.

#111 Summer fun

Posted in Anime, Bleach, Hetalia on August 9, 2011 by Lee T

Nothing is coming out Tuesday today except Bleach which is still on fillers at episode 334. I only watched half of last week’s episode and I’m too lazy to watch this week’s.  There is also no weekly manga releases this week so I have no idea what I’m going to do this week.  So, I will give you some news today. :)

According to FUNimation’s Twitter, Amazon’s anime sale is ending today so grab your Blu-rays and DVD’s at cheaper prices.

Hetalia the Movie: Paint It White! is now available for pre-order. If you do so, you will receive a green Hetalia bandana. FUNimation’s blog post includes the link to pre-order, a message from Prussia (the English voice actor), and a 5 minute preview of the movie in dub that were shown at Otakon.

In other news, I recently was able to get my first personal computer for college.  I was planning to change the banner to to this blog since nobody can recognize the character on the right is Ichigo in Final Getsuga Tenshou form but I have no Photoshop. :|

I also received a tablet as a gift so I will be using it to post pictures in my post one is needed. Like now!

Remember comment! I need feedback! I also have a Twitter and Facebook page that automatically update every time I have a new post.

There sure are a lot of links in this post.  Oh well, see you tomorrow!

Hetalia World Series ep 50/102 [watch here]

Hetalia has returned to AnimeCrazy.net :)

The American holiday of Halloween hits the countries.  Italy, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Latvia, Estonia, France, and Hungary are dressed up.  Russia, England, Sealand, and Austria are patiently waiting at home.

Next part, Italy is keeping his eyes open.  =O I wonder where Germany is going.

#58 Oh Monday

Posted in Anime, Fairy Tail, Hetalia, Manga on April 18, 2011 by Lee T

I miss coming home to Hetalia every Monday, but this season has ended and now streamed by FUNimation. Hopefully, there will be a new season.

Hold on a moment. Did Manga Stream just release Silver Spoon chapter 1? They’re a week late! Chapter 2 is already out and chapter 3 is on it’s way. Make up your mind guys.

I’ve been trying to get into manhwa lately.

Blast by Lee Ha Na and Park Kang Ho

This manhwa is about a boy, Shiho, who was an angel and banished to earth to make up for his misbehavior in heaven. He is sort of a delinquent as a human while having no memory of being an angel.

He is visited by the angel Muriel who pulls him into a war with demons where he must rediscover his powers and destroy the humans that were changed into demons.

The story is quite fast paced and sort of confusing. I guess I needed a balance since I am a big fan of Defense Devil which has an almost complete opposite of a story line with demons as the good guys instead of angels. Both of these series are also written by Korean authors.

Fairy Tail ch 231 – Ender [read here]

Doranbolt. What kind of name is that? He’s a weirdo in my book. Go ahead and mope in your cave alone.

Ultear’s ambitions are still extremely blurry. Even though she says she’s doing on her mother’s wishes, the results are causing some major plot problems. There better be a good explanation for all this.

Bluenote controls the rain or gravity? Probably gravity. He likes making holes in the ground

Hold a sec, is the glasses imagination guy really going to EAT them? Cannibal?

Cana is the daughter of of the first guild master of Fairy Tail. Sounds like she has never seen her father before. How old is she actually?

What happened to that S class guy who fought Natsu? Shouldn’t he be there kicking butt? Erza is still here. I’m pretty sure that half of the Fairy Tail members disappear for chapters at a time. I’m sort of lost.
